洋物の映画を観る際の、吹き替え派・字幕派論争。皆様はどちらでご覧になりますか。
わたしはどっちも観たい派です。
映画もゲームも小説も、セリフの意味や意図は同じでも言語によってニュアンスが違う、という場面を頻繁に見かけます。そこがまた面白いところでもあって、やはり両方楽しみたくなります。
ルーカス君も、日本語版と英語版、どちらも口調や言い回しが絶妙です。日本語でも英語でもセリフもキャラクターの印象がよく表現されていて、やっぱ翻訳ってすげえなあ、と勝手に思っています。
そこで、英語の勉強にも役立てばいいなという下心もありつつ、バイオハザード７のゲーム本編中からルーカス君のセリフを集めてみました。
日本語を喋るルーカス君と英語を喋るルーカス君、ぜひ両方をお楽しみください。
